The story of Jaromir Soukup is a classic example of a successful entrepreneur who started, as they say from scratch. And it was only through his own diligence, incredible commitment and business spirit that he was able to win the position of market leader on the Czech media and marketing scene. He managed to build one of the largest media houses in the Czech Republic, including the third largest private television group in the Czech Republic.

In 1991 he was involved in the establishment of the Médea media agency, which has long been the number one on the domestic market. And it is both in the range of services offered, and based on turnover. This was confirmed, for example, by the latest overview of Recma, the multinational rating agency. According to him, Medea, which takes care of more than 600 clients, mediated activities for a total of 240 million euros, i.e. more than 6.3 billion crowns.

In 2000, he added publishing activities to the advertising business. His media group Empresa Media publishes not only the prestigious news magazine TÝDEN, but also the magazines Instinkt, Interview, Exclusive or the very popular magazine Sedmička.

For the past six years, this graduate of the Law Faculty of Charles University has also been the owner and CEO of Barrandov TV station. The third largest private television group in the Czech Republic, which is one of the most watched TV stations in the country. In recent years, moreover, Jaromir Soukup has also devoted himself to presenting mostly discussion and current affairs programs. He gained great respect mainly by his show Kauzy Jaromíra Soukupa (The Cases of Jaromir Soukup), where he described and revealed a number of inaccuracies. The President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman and the Prime Minister Andrej Babiš belong among his regular guests in the discussion show Duel Jaromíra Soukupa (The Duel of Jaromír Soukup).

Thanks to the power of his media group, he has recently started to develop the first online shop, which emphasizes both the quality of services and, above all, the price and easy availability of goods.
